Wooden Bakery, as in the past two years, participated in The World Bread Day which takes place on October 16 of every year, through an awareness-raising campaign on its Facebook page. World Bread Day is an international online event organized on a yearly basis to encourage people from around the globe to bake bread & cake and share their various recipes and traditions. 

During Wooden Bakery’s Facebook campaign, participants uploaded and shared photos of their appetizing baked bread & cake. As a result, 21,000 loaves of Pita White Bread will be donated by Wooden Bakery to the Lebanese Food Bank during a press conference organized on February 5, 2014.

The Lebanese Food bank will be distributing this bread to its charity associations’ partners all over Lebanon, such as Auxilia, Dar al Ajaza al Islamiyah, Mission de Vie, Dr. Mohamad Khaled association, SOS, Al Tofol Al Said Institution, Fista, AIC…
